      - He has been a town councillor at the town council of BIANA for two terms of office: 1983-1987 and 1987-1991. He was elected as town councellor as a member of the candidature "UNIDAD POPULAR".

      - He has regularly collaborated and still does with EGIN and the journal PUNTO Y HORA DE EUSKAL HERRIA.

      - From 1962 to 1967 he took active part in the students’ struggle against Franco´s dictatorship in Madrid together with Enrique Tierno Galván, Agustín García Calvo and Dr. Montero, where they carried out a tireless activity at the opposite side of Rodolfo Martín Villa and the leaders of SEU at that time (SEU, Sindicato Español de Estudiantes, was the students’ syndicate, a totalitarian organization with compulsory affiliation. The fees were charged by the Ministry of Education together with the education fees to all univerity students in that nazi-fascist régime of Francisco Franco).

      - From 1967 to 1969 he was a professor of Spanish at the University of Montpellier. He took active part in the "May Revolution" of 1968.

      - In 1972 he was victimized by the Franco´s government on the pretext of leading the struggle in his town to demand "clear accounts" in his town hall and against corruption. As a result of it he was prosecuted and turned out of his post of professor of French at the Sagasta High School of Logroño (Rioja), a city close to his birth and living place. And, for that reason and due to several clashes with the Civil Guard, he was forced to leaving for England, where he settled on the Island of Jersey and worked as a dishwasher at a restaurant. He came back to Navarre at the end of 1973 and returned to his work as a professor of French.

      - In 1977 he founded, together with two other neighbours, the "ERENTZUN" Ikastola in Biana, Navarre, and registered it legally at the town council.

      - In 1980 he joined the hunger strike of the parliament members of HERRI BATASUNA and AMAIUR at the Parliament of Navarre, to demand that José Antonio Urbiola, vicepresident of the parliament and member of HERRI BATASUNA arrested in Madrid were set free. Nine days later he was urgently taken to the Hospital of Navarre, but he still refused to eat as long as Urbiola wasn´t released.

      - In 1981 as a result of the Tejerazo —coup attemped by general Tejero on 23 February— some secret policemen accompined by some civil guards tried to arrest him at half past one in the morning. They bursted into his house with the guns in their hands but didn´t manage to find him despite the fact that he was there (it is an old house at the Old Part of the venerable and monumental and full of passages and subways city of Biana).

      - At half past one of a night of 1980 and due to his abertzale political activity, two citizens of Biana, one of them the local secretary of UPN, gave him such a tough beating that he was urgently taken into hospital that very night and stayed there inmbonilized for a month.

      - Nevertheless, he continued, even more enthusiastically if possible, with his political activities througout Navarre in favour of an independent Basque Country side by side with Iñaki Aldekoa, Justo de la Cueva, Mikel Arbeloa, Mauricio Olite and Ricardo González, among many other activists.

      - At present he has a collection of "stories" and a novel ready to be taken to the printer´s.
